Jeb Stuart Rescue Squad is dedicated to providing compassionate, professional, and timely pre-hospital emergency medical care to the citizens and visitors of our community. We are seeking Emergency Medical Technicians (all certification levels) who are motivated, dependable, and committed to serving others in times of need.

We welcome applicants at all EMT certification levels, including:

• EMT (Basic)
• Advanced EMT (AEMT / EMT-Intermediate)
• Paramedic (EMT-P)

Qualifications

• Minimum age: 18 years old.
• Certification: Current Virginia (or National Registry with reciprocity) EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic certification.
• Driver’s license: Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Training: Current CPR certification; advanced levels require ACLS, PALS, and additional certifications as required.
• Physical requirements: Ability to lift and carry patients and equipment, and to work in physically and emotionally stressful environments.
• Personal qualities: Strong communication skills, teamwork, integrity, and a genuine desire to serve the community.
